The last time i had shared of how the culture of goa came into existence. And that how the goan people are so friendly and hospitable in nature. Today I'm going to share of in which occupation goan people are involved in.

Being the coastal area, the main occupation of the goan people is fishing. Once the fact of being in the coast goa also boasts of a fertile area and so agriculture is also practiced in this area. Some of the commonly cultivated crops here includes long length bananas, paddy, ragi, maize, jowar, bajra, pulses and cash crops like coconut , cashew nut, mango, jackfriut, banana, pineapple etc. Goa is known for its princely beauty, tourism also becomes a principle occupation of the people in villages. They work as tourist guides or run their own businesses in the beaches and they also engaged in providing lodging facilities to tourists. They are also known for their one and only and unique occupation of supplying bread from door to door.The people call them as orthe bread supplier is kown as PODER.
